The opening round of the 2020 BTCC season at Donington Park proved to be a great debut for many of the newest cars on the grid. The final race of the day saw Ashley Sutton storm to the front of the pack to take a commanding first race victory for the Laser Tools Racing Infiniti Q50. Chris Smiley held off the chasing pack to bring the brand new Hyundai i30N home in second place to take a first ever podium for the Excelr8 Motorsport Team.
